Firmengeschichten – Doppelabend (Company Stories – Twin Evening) is an experimental cross between a theater evening and a Gesamtkunstwerk. The project attempts to distinguish between the world of finance and the real economy. This is illustrated by a business consultancy which is a purely financial enterprise detached from real processes of production. 

Two consultants are competing with one another side-by-side, each trying to outdo the other with ever new models of optimization. One of them, a professional consultant, works at an office desk; the other, a trained art historian, works from a pedestal. The tools of their trade are models in the form of building blocks used to devise systems of restructuring and (asymmetrical) mergers. Their work performance is doubled by a wall of mirrors.
