Das Unternehmen – 8 Stunden 24 Minuten (The Undertaking – 8 Hours 24 Minutes) is a performance for two actors. The pyramid, a shape often used in diagrams of a company’s structure, was rendered in three dimensions. The company/the pyramid has three floors to accommodate production, administration, and management. But the company has to come to terms with the mistake of having only two employees. That means that the members of staff are constantly on the move and have to be flexible in order to rotate between the floors. What the firm manufactures remains unclear; there is talk of product 1 and product 2.
